Here are your rallies for 2017!
The Retro Caravan Club aims to provide club members with a varied events calendar throughout the year.
We try to cover the length and breadth of Great Britain and aim to attend two European rallies every year.Members are invited to attend as many rallies as they wish.

The majority of Event dates for 2017 have now been launched, there are approximately 10 more to add in the coming months. 

We have Area Representatives throughout the UK, although we are still currently looking for an Area Representative for the North West, Scotland and Ireland. You can see our Area Rep Map below.
1. 27th December - 5th January: New Year’s Rally (Leicestershire)
New Year’s Eve party in the barn with American style buffet and disco.

2. 24th - 26th March: Wolds Way, Malton (North Yorkshire)
Immaculate campsite in the heart of the North York Moors. Easy access to York and only 20 miles from Scarborough. Excellent facilities including individual bathrooms for the use of guests. Heated social room and planned activities throughout the weekend.

3. 24th - 26th March: Forest Of Dean (Gloucestershire) 
Apple Orchard campsite welcomes back the Retro Caravan Club for 2017. This beautifully presented, recently opened campsite is a peaceful venue on the edge of the Forest of Dean. The site has full facilities including an on site cafe/bar. They also have Glamping Pods for any members who wish to attend without their caravan.
4. 31st March - 2nd April: Lytton Lawn (New Forest)
8-acre campsite in well maintained parkland offering great views of the Isle Of Wight. Family friendly with children’s play area and amusement arcade. The site has toilets and showers.

5. 21st - 23rd April: Shottisham (Suffolk)
Idyllic family run campsite in rural Suffolk. The site houses a small holding with Alpacas and Chickens. They have an egg collection at 6pm every evening and encourage children to take part and get up close with the animals. Lots to see and do in the area. The site has a green approach to things, with the toilet block being fed entirely by solar power.

6. 28th - 30th April: Sprite 60th Anniversary Rally, Newmarket (Cambridgeshire) 
This is perhaps the most exciting rally of the year! To celebrate 60 years of the Sprite Alpine and Musketeer models, the two longest running model names in British caravanning history, we have organised a rally at Sprite founder Sam Alper’s Chilford Hall estate. His widow, Fiona, has kindly welcomed the Retro Caravan Club to their home. They have a spacious Hall which is now a wedding venue and also houses an impressive vineyard. There will be plenty of festivities throughout the weekend including wine tasting and a tour of the vineyard. Prices are yet to be confirmed, but there will be no electric hook ups, but battery charging facilities are available. More details to come in the next magazine.

7. 5th - 7th May: Pyscodlyn (Abergavenny)
The site of Pyscodlyn Caravan Park is situated in the Usk Valley, two miles from Abergavenny and just on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The site is well landscaped and level, featuring toilets and showers.

8. 19th - 21st May: Pre-ECCR Weekend (Kent)
Open invitation to all RCC members, especially those following on to the ECCR in Holland for a European themed social weekend. ECCR attendees will follow on from the rally on Tuesday to the crossing to travel up to the ECCR.

9. 26th - 28th May: European Classic Caravan Rally (Holland)
The 22nd annual ECCR meeting in Wanroj, Netherlands.

​10. 26th - 28th May: Launceston Steam Rally (Cornwall)
The 35th annual fair welcomes the Retro Caravan Club back for 2017. No charge for the weekend for exhibitors. No electrics or showers, but toilets are on site
11. 9th - 11th June: RetroFestival Newark (Nottinghamshire)
Run by the same team that run RetroFestival Newbury, the show returns to Newark for 2017. Expect the same amazing weekend that the Retro Caravan Club enjoyed at Newbury last year.
12. 16th - 18th June: Lincolnshire Lanes (Market Rasen)
This family friendly site is set in rural Lincolnshire. The site is also home to a Glamping Pod, Bell Tents and a Bow-Top Gypsy style caravan, all available to hire. The site has a new toilet and shower block with laundry facilities.

13. 23rd - 25th June: Fairfields Farm (East Sussex)
Big open plan site located in an area of natural beauty. The farm features many animals and there’s a well stocked fishing lake on site. The site boasts immaculate facilities and a well stocked campsite shop.

14. 7th - 9th July: Banbury (Oxfordshire)
We return to Fir Tree Falconry for 2017. This stunning hillside campsite is in the heart of Oxfordshire with close access to the Cotswolds. The newly re-vamped British Motor Museum (formally Gaydon) is just a few miles up the road. The site has shower and toilet facilities and a large fishing lake. There are a few walks leading directly from the site with three dog-friendly pubs within a five mile distance. We have the use of up to sixteen electric points, but members will need to provide splitters.

15. 21st - 23rd July: Teesdale (Durham)

16. 28th - 30th July: Boconnoc Steam Fair (Cornwall)
One of Cornwall’s most prestigious steam fairs welcomes the RCC back for 2017. There is just a £5 charge for the whole weekend to cover admin fees. No electrics or showers, but toilets on site.

17. 4th - 6th August: Weald Of Kent Steam Rally (Kent)
Brilliant traditional steam fair with vintage fairground. Free to exhibitors. No electrics or showers, but toilets on site.

18. 11th - 13th August: RetroFestival Newbury (Berkshire)
The Retro Caravan Club returns to this fantastic event for 2017. Live music all weekend, period dress encouraged and lots of vintage/retro goodies for sale. No electrics, but the site does have basic showers and toilet facilities.

19. 25th - 27th August: Stapleford Miniature Railway Open Weekend (Leicestershire)
Free weekend for exhibitors in the beautiful grounds of Stapleford Park. The weekend is in aid of the local hospice, LOROS. It’s a favourite weekend for classic caravan enthusiasts, with 30-40 caravans regularly in attendance. No electrics or showers, but toilets are on site. Free ride of the miniature railway is included for exhibitors.

20. 8th - 10th September: Lanlivery Vintage Show (Cornwall)
Popular vintage show in the middle of Cornwall near Liskeard. The show features the usual steam engines and vintage vehicles in addition to a horse show, dog show and car boot sale.

21. 29th September - 1st October: Scotts Haven, Southampton (West Sussex)

22. 29th September - 1st October: Flamborough (East Yorkshire)

23. 27th - 29th October: Heyford Lays Halloween Weekend (Oxfordshire)
Spooky Halloween Special appropriately running on a 17th Century farm. Plenty of family friendly festivities throughout the weekend. The campsite has full facilities and is easily accessed from the M40 and perfectly suited for exploring the surrounding area.

24. 27th - 29th October: Beverley (East Yorkshire)
The Retro Caravan Club returns to Manor Farm in Beverley for 2017. This beautiful family run site is now five years old and going from strength to strength. It’s beautifully landscaped and has great facilities. They have many animals on site including horses, chickens and pigs. The site is just a few miles outside of Beverley and about a 15 minute drive from Hull.
30th - 31st: Retro Festival, Marquise (France)
    The French town of Marquise welcomes us to participate in this huge event held within an hours’ drive of Calais. Each area of the town is given a different year from 1950 - 1965 to immerse visitors in. It promises to be an absolutely unmissable event and easily accesible from the UK.
7th - 9th: Forest Of Dean Rally (Gloucestershire)
Small campsite situated behind a traditional English Pub. Explore all that the Forrest of Dean has to offer from this location in the heart of the forrest. Showers and toilets included but electric hook up pitches are limited to six. No limit for non-electric pitches. 
27th December - 5th January: New Year's Rally (Leicestershire)
This long holiday rally returns for the second year. Members are invited to join us in ringing in the New Year in a big barn with a buffet style meal and disco. The site is within easy access to Warwickshire, Leicester and Coventry so there is plenty in the area to see and do. 
2nd - 4th: Shackerstone Family Festival (Leicestershire)
This hugely popular free event boasts over 200 narrow boats travelling the canal network to moor up alongside the festival for the weekend. Expect hundreds of classic cars, a steam fair, a full size historic railway and even a Spitfire flypast!
9th - 11th: New Forest Rally (Hampshire) 
Peaceful setting on the edge of the New Forest, this social rally provides the excellent chance to relax towards the end of the season. Situated on the edge of the Forest, this location offers the best that the Forest has to offer as well as being a very short distance from the Coast and Bournmouth.
1st January, 2017: Retro Caravan Club AGM, (Leicestershire)
The AGM for the Retro Caravan Club will be part of the New Year's Rally. The AGM itself will be held on the Sunday, but is open for any members to attend. Weekend camping is available. 
23rd - 25th: Sussex Rally (West Sussex)  
This is a quiet campsite on a genuine working farm, in a beautiful area within easy reach of the sea, ideal for relaxing or visiting the many tourist attractions in the area. Deposit required, electric hook up available. 
9th - 11th September: Yorkshire Late Summer Social (North Yorkshire)

Situated amongst glorious countryside in the heart of Ryedale, the site enjoys panoramic views over the Vale of Pickering to the North Yorkshire Moors. The park is located adjacent to Wolds Farmland and large areas of woodland, providing peace and tranquility. With easy access to the East Coast resorts, Filey and Scarborough, the historic city of York and the stunning Castle Howard Stately Home and grounds
